Angie Kang is the author-illustrator of OUR LAKE (Kokila, 2025) and the Art Director of Vestal Review.

The recipient of the Ezra Jack Keats Fellowship at MacDowell, she has also been supported by organizations such as the Virginia Center of the Creative Arts, Tin House, VONA/Voices, Napa Valley Writers’ Conference, the Sundress Academy of Arts. She was featured in Best Small Fictions 2024 and shortlisted for the 2023 Cartoonist Studio Prize. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, Narrative, The Believer, The Rumpus, Ecotone, and elsewhere.
